For over twenty-eight years Bob and Pamela Yam have tirelessly worked to create what is known today as the Malayan Orchid Restaurant in Bendigo. Announced as a national finalist in the 2016 Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering Awards for best Asian restaurant, this family-run business is a testament that hard work and dedication is rewarded. The menu is inspired by  Australian , European and Asian flavours, with dishes such as kangaroo spicy plum jus and red cooked camel.
